If, after due consideration of the information contained within the application and the related investigative report, the Mayor determines that the applicant does ot meet the standards set forth in this chapter, such license shall be denied.  Thereupon, the City Clerk shall promptly notify the applicant that no license will be issued, indicating the reasons therefor.

    If, after due consideration of the information contained within the application and the related investigative report, the Mayor determines that the applicant meets the standards set forth in this chapter, such license shall be granted and the City Clerk shall notify the applicant thereof.
