Section 2.68 PERSONNEL CODE
Chapter 2.68.370 Jury duty.
The city recognizes the responsibility of an employee who
is called to serve on jury duty.
Therefore, the city will make up the difference between the amount of money received for jury
duty and what the employee would have earned from the city.
To receive the difference, the employee must provide the
city clerk with the court receipt,
indicating dates served or called and compensation received.
An employee is expected to be at their city employment, whenever
excused for a day (or any
portion of a day) from jury service. (Ord. 1121 § 1 (part), 1993: prior code § 10-16-1)
