The charges specified in Sections 2.38.050 and 2.38.060 shall not include any expense for insurance, maintenance, repairs or replacements of any fire-fighting equipment or apparatus now owned, or which may hereafter be owned by the rural fire protection district; and the city shall not be held liable for any damages incurred in the performance of services, nor in its omission to perform such services, intended under this chapter.
