The regularly stated meetings of the city council shall be held in the City Hall building on the first and third Mondays of each month at seven p.m. during Central Standard Time and at seven p.m. during Central Daylight Savings Time. When the meeting date falls on a legal holiday, the meeting shall be held on the next regular day, the same hour and place, unless otherwise designated. Adjourned meetings may be held at such times as determined by the council. Public notice of regular meetings shall be given in accordance with the Meetings of Public Agencies Act of the State of Illinois, Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 102, Sections 41 through 54, as amended.
