Chapter 17.24 R-7 MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
Section 17.24.040 Lot size.
A. One-Family Dwellings. The same
regulations shall apply as permitted in the R-5 one-family dwelling district.
B. Multifamily Dwellings and Row Houses.
Every building hereafter erected or structurally
altered as a multifamily dwelling or as a row house shall provide a lot area per dwelling unit of
not less than three thousand (3,000) square feet per unit for a two-unit building and one thousand
five hundred (1,500) square feet per unit for three to eight units per building, and the width of the
lot at the building line shall be not less than thirty (30) feet plus: (i) a distance equal to the
product derived from multiplying the number of first floor (or ground level) dwelling units times
twenty (20) foot per unit; or (ii) the horizontal width of the building housing the multiple
dwelling units measured at the ground level, whichever is more.
C. Churches and Similar Places of
Worship. The same regulations shall apply as required in
