Section 17.02.060 Building permit.

    A.    Except as otherwise provided in Section 15.04.020, no building or structure exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) in cost or any satellite earth station shall be erected, added to, or structurally altered until the required fee has been paid and a permit has been issued by the building inspector. Except upon a written order of the board of appeals, no such building permit shall be issued for any building where the construction, addition or alteration or use thereof would be in violation of any of the provisions of this title.
    B.    There shall be submitted with all applications for building permits of nonagricultural buildings or structures two copies of a layout or plat plan drawn to scale showing actual dimensions of the lot to be built upon, the exact size and location on the lot of the building and accessory buildings to be erected and such other information as may be necessary to determine and provide for the enforcement of this zoning code.
    C.    One copy of such layout or plat plan shall be returned when approved by the building inspector, together with such permit to the applicant. (Ord. 594 § 6, 1985; prior code § 40-12-1)
