The state law on equipment of vehicles, 625 ILCS Ch. 5/12, as passed, approved and amended by the Illinois General Assembly is adopted by the city, and the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the city. (Amended during 1997 codification; prior code § 24-7-1)
