Babygarten (6-18 mos.)

Bring your baby for rhymes, songs, play, and choral reading to build their language and early literacy skills. We get busy so remember to wear comfy clothes.

Story Hour (3-5 yrs.)

Children build early literacy skills in a themed story time with songs, stories, craft, and free play with new friends.

Tot-Time (18 mos.-3 yrs.)

Toddlers and their caregivers join in on simple stories, rhymes, songs, and a fun activity or themed craft.

S.T.E.A.M. Explorers: Balloon Powered Car (6-12 yrs.)

Balloon Powered Car: Design, build, and test a balloon powered car to take home! We will race our cars at the end. Recommended for ages 6-12.

All are welcome and people can choose to socialize or join the weekly activity. Some weeks we host a presenter.

Friends of the Library Meeting

Our Friends group are volunteers who share a common belief that the library is important to the intellectual and cultural growth of the community. The members of this non-profit organization work to increase public awareness of all library services and assist in bringing funds to the library for special needs. Meetings take place in library basement. Please feel free to join us.

Learn how to setup each of the Columbia Library eBook applications with your library card on your smart device. Then, explore what each has to offer and learn how to check in and out electronic books, music, movies, magazines and more. Please bring your own device.

Teen Creations: No Sew Fleece Tie Heart Pillow (11-17 yrs.)

Tie together a fleece heart pillow to give to a friend or to have another throw pillow for your room. Recommended for ages 11-17 years.

Chair Yoga (Adults)

Increase strength, flexibility, coordination and reduce stress as Lisa Fox guides you through yoga poses that utilize a chair for balance.
